The Big 4 is a series of games to be held in San Diego as a way to introduce the Super 8 style of play to Thundercats fans. Each week will feature the Thundercats and a combination of other teams playing at La Mesa Indoor Soccer also known as the “Thunderdome”.
Representing the Super 8:
The Thundercats are the founding team of the Super 8 and have played this style in the USA and Mexico and against teams from Mexico, California, Nevada, and Arizona. The Thundercats have won Arena tournaments and championships in 2011, 2013, Summer 2014, and Winter 2014/2015.
The Desert Sentinels were founded in 2014 and have quickly become a strong team in the Super 8, like the Thundercats the Sentinels play games in both the US and Mexico and in their short history have already managed to play against a Vegas team as well.
INVITED TEAMS
The Los Angeles Hilltoppers for the past 2 seasons have been members of the LCFL, this summer they have decided to take the opportunity to try their hand at arena football.
The Vegas Hawks are a new franchise in Las Vegas that started this year in Spring as members of the WWFL. This Summer they will be playing Arena in Vegas as well as in California before playing 11 man in the Fall along with the Thundercats in the Pac West Football League.
